Peel away the layers

More here

than meets the eye.

My journalistas often eat in Room 215 during lunch. More comfy, less smelly than the cafeteria, they don't have to walk the length of the building to acquire sustenance. And sorta has the feel of a home away from home.

The paradox of a high school classroom serving as sanctuary does sound a little odd, but there you have it. Just wish they'd clean up after themselves.

Yes cleaning up would be helpful. Most schools don't want food in their classrooms because it can cause mice etc. to gather.

The band room was that way for me when I was in HS.

Ah... a kid who cleans up. It's like finding a unicorn.

Sanctuary is a word that brings peaceful feeling to my mind. I think we can find sanctuary in many places if we try!

I found sanctuary amongst my whole family this afternoon and even though they are a noisy bunch, my heart was so peaceful and content!

Happy Saturday!
