I wouldn't call them Eliza Doolittles, but I do have quite a few cherubs who mangle the English language. They favor bureaucratic jargon (utilize, opportunity, in terms of, etc.) instead of honest nouns and verbs when trying to make a point.
Here's to our efforts to ungarble the masses, which has become increasingly difficult in recent years. Let's just say that all of that digital competence does not lend itself to making a clear, concise point.
