Sorry to interrupt (and hey, painting is HARD), but I thought you might like to read this excerpt from the new novel, Chain Gang Elementary, about the Standard Hightower Achievement Test: http://chaingangelementary.com/?p=1320
Good Day! My name is Gina Phillips and I am an EDM310 Student at the University of South Alabama in Dr. John Strange's class! (YEAH ME! I have to introduce myself!)
So, the first thing I thought was - this is so sad! I like what what TheOzSys said "Like you have to be quiet (SH) to be "COOL"?" I wish I had thought of it!
I also want to say, I appreciate how you can teach without words! I guess the old adage that a picture is like a thousand words is really true!
If you would like to view my blog you will find it here: http://phillipsginaedm310.blogspot.com/
Oh, my gosh, that gave me a wry smile (by the way what does that kind of smile mean to you?).
Oh and now they are lobbying to make computer coding mandatory because we are not educating our children for the future properly. I am thinking we need to worry about the basics.

Hmmm...maybe there's some subliminal message in there somewhere...
Like you have to be quiet ("SH") to be "COOL"?
Or maybe I just try too hard? Anyway, happy WW!

WOW, my first reaction was laughter, my second was having my cheeks turn red. Embarrassed for our country :(
