Of course, when you're reading the sign you are NOT being alert for balls and bats.
Do they have a similar plaque on the railing in front of the first row of seats, or do they assume if you can afford the seat, you're understanding the potential for projectiles?
Hey I am a student in EDM310 at the University of South Alabama. This picture is pretty funny. I think you should always be aware of balls/bats flying at you at a baseball game. The sign is interesting but at least it is warning to keep a watch out.

Another of those signs that states the obvious for those people who can't recognize the obvious?
Signs always provoke something of the bizarre in me. This one is classic!
