I will be taking a plane to San Francisco on Saturday. I'm not sure how many miles, but I know it's like...a lot, from one end of the country to the other. I am a Chi town girl living in the tropics, but I do love the beautiful San Francisco. It's one of my favorite places. I can't wait.
Thanks for all your comments! I took this Superior Snap at Ehlenback's Cheese Chalet in DeForest, WI, just outside the capital city of Madison. It's part of a larger hand-painted map of The Dairy State that hangs outside this landmark. I'm in the middle of my annual Great American Silo Tour, so just had to visit one of Wisconsin's many cheese shrines. I'll have more snaps from the visit soon. For now, I'm on the road again...

168 miles to Chicago is just too close unless you've already gone back through it and are heading back home.
