I have been to The Wall and it is such an impressive and emotional monument. I was on Air Force wife during much of the Vietnam War, so there are names I know there.
I was most impressed by the Vietnam War Memorial when I went to DC. I love how it reflects and really evokes a feeling of how personally the war has impacted so many families.
~years ago we gave my father a picture of the wall and three soldiers standing and kneeling...such a powerful piece that holds so much...unspoken words...names written in honor of so many past...this is a picture picture you shared...warm wishes and brightest blessings~

Absolutely beautiful picture. I made sure that was a stop on my trip there.
Names not forgotten of those who live on in our hearts.
It is so solemn every time I visit it, but yet the wall is a place I love.
Such a powerful place. Really lovely picture too.
Great picture. A friend's dad is on that wall. Our families are really close, I really wish I can go there.
Here's my WW entry for this week.
Happy WW!

This always brings me back to reality with a jolt. There is nothing quite like being there.

Such a powerful thing.
I think my mum as a great uncle on a wall somewhere.
All those walls have too many names.
Powerful shot, Melissa.

The Vietnam Memorial is my favorite. Always chokes me up. Interactive, way before all this 2.0 business
