Between the Lines

Between the Lines

I've taken to packing my modest little Canon point-and-shoot in my bag when I'm on the road. The chance for a Superior Snap comes up at the oddest times~in this case, at an overly long light on my commute home from Our Humble High School.

Yes, the weather is still whacky & we've been dodging hail again. Looking forward to a lovely long weekend, especially because school lets out at 11:30 Friday!

I guess one could characterize today's snap as the calm before the storm. Yearbooks arrive next week, so I imagine that we'll be up to our armpits in collective chaos.

Sleeping, eating, lounging around. That's how I'ma gonna commemorate Memorial Day. Sorta sounds like my kitty kat, correctamundo?

That is impressive -- I had one of the first Canon point and shoot cameras and I would pay a million dollars for it now. So easy. Not digital but very sturdy and very reliable. I don't think I was as adept as you, however.

Thanks SO much for visiting my blog...come back anytime! It's always nice to "meet" other teachers. I still am so very passionate about education and try to use my experience to help others. I admire great teachers who put their heart and soul into teaching our kids. I look forward to checking out your blog, too!

Y'know, I go out of my way not to include power lines in my shots. This works though.

That countdown clock is moving so slowly I want to scream!

I have started doing the same thing because, as it turns out, my cell phone does not actually get the same quality as my point n' shoot. I guess it really WAS meant to just call people. Hmmm...

I hope you have a stormy weekend - PERFECT for lying around and reading and relaxing! ;)

I have been missing my blogging friends and thought I'd stop by and say howdy! Hope things are well with you. (I've gone to the dark side and joined Facebook hoping to stalk more people!)

I've had 2 of the little canon point and shoots. They've taken some of my best photos!! Now I have an EOS Rebel. Love it too. Have a great holiday weekend!

We have 8 more days of school. Feels like it's never going to end. So, you didn't have to make up any snow days?
