'Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
What's Montague? it is nor hand, nor foot,
Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
What's in a name? that which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call'd,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title. Romeo, doff thy name,
And for that name which is no part of thee
Take all myself.
William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet
Rose is a rose is a rose is a rose
Loveliness extreme.
Extra gaiters,
Loveliness extreme.
Sweetest ice-cream.
Gertrude Stein, Sacred Emily
A Rose is a rose
A Nose is a nose
A Toes is a toes
Betty Comden, Singin' in the Rain
So, don't forget to stop and smell the roses.

I'm trying to catch up on my wonderful visitors from Wednesday. I thank you for dropping by and leaving such a kind comment. It's always so much appreciated.
Thanks, and do come again sometime soon.
Hope your day has been treating you well so far!!
Nice shots! I'm not a huge rose fan myself, and it seems smelling anything with leaves these days leads to an allergy induce day from H-E-double hockey sticks. But, I sure do enjoy looking at them and am hopeful that my brown thumbs don't kill off every bloom in our yard by summer!
Happy Anniversary!!!
Yellow roses are my favorites (along with daisies), so bravo to Mr. Man!!!
