OMG, where are they going to put all the snow they plow? Dump it in the Potomac?I hope you have lots of provisions so you don't have to venture out in that nasty stuff. May the road crews be of high stamina and possess a great work ethic (though I suppose the thought of overtime is motivation enough).
It really is awe inspiring just how much of that stuff can come out of the sky at once, isn't it?
oh my gosh!!! thats crazy!! its gorgeous, but i would go nuts....i am so not a snow person...the pics look great though :)
That must be romantically cold. In these cases you should stay in bed with a cup of hot chocolate. Mmmm!
Hello Melissa! why you ordered so much snow? :)))now i think it is enough :-)
*hangs head in shame* We have alittle light powder sugar snow on the ground and I am complaining... That is awesome! I love the idea of grilling in the snow... now if only I can talk the husband into being the one to stand outdoors...
Wow! I can't believe all the snow you guys are getting. I just moved from Richmond last year and I know they are struggling too! Crazy!
Nice pictures. There is total whiteout here too, and more snow on the way.
great photos--looks all too familiar! :)
brrrrrr....Oh boy you have snow!A LOT!It's going to take ages to melt...hopefully slowly and no frosty nights after that...BLOGitse
Have to leave the house today. Have to leave the house today...You see MCC is coming to WT this summer?
reminds me of the year the girl's heads were almost up to the top of the stop sighs! Enjoy, though making up school will be a drag! You should come to WI, where there isn't much snow...Oh, that's right, you CAN'T get here!
And here I was whining about it being a little cold around the Panhandle this morning. Wow....I love the juxtaposition of the beach souvenirs and the snow scene out the window. You still have a sense of humor about it, that's good.
Good morning, Thanks so much for your comment...It sure is beautifulbut, well enough is enough... I think you agree...Love your photos. We got 10 inches..last night.
Are you sure you don't live next door to me?
You owe that guy with the snowblower a 24-pack of Natty Light...because what that tells me is that he had the foresight to buy a snowblower in a region of the country that hasn't historically gotten enough snow to blow. Sort of like our next door neighbor. He has kindly snowblown our sidewalk this week and really?? who would have EVER thought you'd need a snowblower in KY?? A helmet, maybe, for all of the falling ice in February. But NOT a snowblower. I've been thinking about you, and my girl Salt (Baltimore) and Sarah (Philly) and hoping that you all are holding up OK and retaining electricity. When you finally un-hole yourself and the city thaws, I can't imagine what you'll do first! (Well after returning to your Humble High School, of course).
We're getting hit hard too in PA!
Oh my goodness!! Keep warm, have some hot chocolate and enjoy, at least for a little while. I'm actually a little jealous. My poor kids have never seen the stuff irl.Stay safe!
has anyone seen the ice queen? she must be here somewhere!
Ohmygosh ... what a LOT of SNOW!!! I love your photos but am glad I'm here near the beach in Southern California. Hope you're all safe and warm with plenty of provisions.Hugs and blessings,
Holy BALLS!Winter can suck it!
It is amazing, isn't it? We don't have as much as you though. Beautiful and annoying all at the same time.
Whoa, I doubt I will ever see that much snow! That's fine with me, too!
I don't envy you.
I don't feel so bad now, we got less than a foot here in IL.
Now thats a good old fashioned snow storm that I remember from when I was young....
The amount of snow you have astounds me.
ya got a whole lotta snow there. I do not envy you right now
Well, I take my hat off to you and your neighbours. We only got eighteen inches at the weekend. We too have another storm forecast for this Friday. It's a pity it doesn't go up instead of coming down all the time. lol
Amazing! At least you can still see the house in the photos.
Good mercy! I hope you have plenty of bread and milk:)
Dream is right...dream of summer!!!~WM
Hard to fathom. Now this is a winter wonderland. You must feel like a REAL Pioneer Woman !
