The Saturday Sphinx

The Saturday Sphinx

We're expecting another "snow event" today.

Hope it's not as bad as the Blizzard of '09. No matter. I'll be curled up on the couch in front of a roaring fire with my friend Pepper, The Saturday Sphinx.

These 6 words brought to you by Cate at Show My Face. It's 6-Word Saturday, you know. And Pepper? Well, she's appearing today courtesy of Camera Critters.

I don't mind snow, but "snow event" sounds sleety and icy, and that I can do without! Stay safe!

Stopping by from SITS - thanks for the visit!

In my next life I want to come back as a cat, sleeping whenever, where ever I want. Find a nice spot of sun and a comfy couch... that's the life.

I hope your snow event is a no event. Is Mother Nature listening?

Happy 6WS! Stay warm.
..
ps. Mrs. Brown, you have a lovely kitty cat. :)

Stopping by from SITS. Thanks for visiting me! I'm enjoying hot cocoa and slippers now. We had sleet and snow yesterday. I guess once every few years isn't bad.

I was wondering how hard you all had gotten hit. We started the week with all the forecasters predicting 10 inches and I think we ended up with about 3 1/2. Still enough for me to have to shovel, though. I would prefer to be curled up on the couch with my own Saturday sphinxes. Enjoy the white...I'm off to make some snow cream! :D

A day curled up on the couch with Pepper and a roaring fire sounds very lovely. Stay warm and cozy.

That looks like a very happy cat. I have a similar one (though not "cow-colored") curled up nearby while I enjoy the snow event.

Stay safe and warm. Thanks for playing 6WS!

A great reason to stay by the fire and snuggle with furry beings. Stay warm!

It wasn't that bad here. Just snow, no ice. Fine with me. Looks like you have the perfect couch partner for the day!

Cute kittie and staying warm in front of the fire sounds wonderful to me.

Wow, this snow started lightly and then all of a sudden everything is covered.

What a gorgeous kitty! She looks like she's well settled in for the duration. :)

I just finished shoveling our 10 inch "snow event" from our driveway. Had a little help from a couple of neighbors, so that was nice! ;-)

Curled up in front of the fire seems like a wonderful place to be on a cold snowy day. Great photo!

so lovely! SNOW EVENT :-) Just like an Egyptian

What the heck kind of term is that ... "snow event"? What happened to "a light dusting" or "1 to 2 inches" or "a blizzard." How do you know what to expect with a "snow event"?

The cat looks comfy though. Stay warm!

Hope you enjoyed your cozy day in front of the fire!

We haven't had any snow at all around here! I love the snow because my hubby works at a tire dealer so snow = more sales which in turn = bigger monthly bonus! Stay cozy!

Our "snow event" actually ended up not being as bad as forecasted. I hope you can say the same in your area!

Love your kitty and the Beach House sign in the window in today's post with the snow outside ... hope your 'snow event' is the good kind (if there is such a thing). I know NOTHING of snow, but we're in for a series of rainstorms again next week. Crazy weather ...
Hugs and blessings,
