The Sun Also Rises

Happy Meal Sunrise

Greetings & Salutations, y'all! Sorry I'm tardy posting this a.m., but we had a late nite yesterday. Ella Numera Dos, she of MOO fame, had shoulder surgery. The gal, an accomplished backstroker, just stroked one too many, the doc says.

After 9 hours at the hospital, the chica is resting comfortably at home. That's what Percocet can do for a gal in pain, I reckon.

My SkyWatch Friday contribution this morning comes from Room 215 at Our Humble High School. We're known, hereabouts, for our spectacular sunrises. And, as you know, Room 215 is also home to a spectacular Happy Meal collection.

If you have a chance, please visit my chica over at her place & wish her a speedy recovery. As always, thank you for your support!

Good Morning! Or should I just say "morning"? I was just over at Moo's blog wishing her a get well wish. Y'all's photo's are beautiful!

This is gonna sound stupid, but I've bvisited your blog several times looking for your button. I notices that when I run the mouse over the top graphic (the header, I guess you call it)it says button, but when I click nothing happens. Soooo, button, button, where's your button?LOL.

The Sun Also Rises, remains, as F. Scott Fitzgerald said, “a romance and a guidebook.” It also became, in the words of critic Sibbie O’Sullivan, “a modern-day courtesy book on how to behave in the waste land Europe had become after the Great War.” The Sun Also Rises successfully portrays its characters as survivors of a “lost generation".

Hee Hee! I love the contrast between the beauty of the sun rise and the tacky of the Happy Meal. Thank goodness God is in charge of the first, cause we "silly humans" could seriously muck it up!

Hope Chica is recovering well!
