With the onslaught of Christmas, followed so closely by the commemoration of the New Year, some of us tend to become forgetful~even elementary-schoolers. Matty, over at Matty Thoughts, snapped this earlier this week at a local school. The hallway display featured lyrics to holiday tuneage scribbled by students. This kid, apparently, gave up on the Christmas spirit before he (or she, as the case may be) really had a chance to revel in it.
Y'all know what to do, correctamundo? Take a gander at this Superior Snap. Then, scribble a caption for said snap in the comments section of this post. And that's all there is to it. You'll win nothing tangible for your efforts~just the knowledge that you gave a whole herd of us a good giggle. And what could be better than that?

Melissa,
Thanks for the good wished for the holidays! I send them right back to you! We got clobbered with a whopper of an ice storm Christmas Day, and just have power again. Thank goodness we have a fireplace! Here's hoping you all stay cozy and warm!
Caption/headline: "Ugh, Christmas is, like, so second grade..."

You have some witty captions here. I can't wait to see who the winner is.
I have nothing for the contest but that is how I feel, too.
Reindeer with an attitude.
OH! It's so hard to remember the words in a sugar stupor! (I do love that Oh! at the beginning.)
