Summer Fever

Circle of Life?

I'm Melting...

Summer fever will

strike your deck if Hubby hits

the greens, not the hose.

Thanks so much for posting at my blog. LOL I'm so happy you had fun reading the jokes. Did you get to try them?

I grew nothing this year. Nothing. Not thing one. In my own defense, I knew at the beginning of the summer that we had two two week vacations planned and we didn't want to have to pay someone to take care of them. But still. Nothing. That's worse than killing things off...

Coming by and catching up! I'd be mortified to post any pictures of my yard this year...it looks like an untamed jungle. Just NO TIME to devote to it but I keep telling myself SOME DAY! What amazes me is, with the extreme heat we've had here in the Northwest this summer, everything's survived without even one watering! I guess that shows how deep our rains seep down thru our wet winters. I've been married 35 years...maybe even longer than you've been alive, ha. One of the schools I attended in my youth is one that Kurt Cobain of Nirvana went to. He was much younger than me and, sadly we already know, not wiser. My childhood best friend's mom was best friends with one of his grandmas.

Every year I intend to grow more things but I have yet to shake my fear of big spiders. :o

They look like they've seen better days! I've been fortunate to not quite kill my plants, but they've been quite droopy a few times!

JadeLD said...

Oh dear, hopefully you got to them on time!

See, now if it was me with all those plants, they would have died WEEKS ago!

hee hee hee! Ooops.

We haven't had this problem in NY - our plants are drowning from too much rain.

Fun to see your Sconi stuff. My hubs is from Madison and we love to spend time Up North!

I think everyone's garden is hurting a little bit this year.

Looks almost as crispy as my San Francisco garden would get if I didn't constantly water it with water from the clothes washer !
