Mrs. Scribe has made one of her semi-annual excursions to North Carolina's Outer Banx. 40 degrees. Wind & Rain. Stunning shells? Unlikely! Welcome to 6-word Saturday, brought to you by Cate at Show My Face.
I hate that the beach is angry - but better an angry beach than a happy cornfield. Unless it's really angry - hurricanes aren't so pretty. Beautiful picture.
Mrs. Scribe, I was thinking Karl Rove, but Richard Pearle's a likely suspect, too.
Silly raised-on-the-West-Coast question, in honor of my Virgina-born dad--how far are the Outer Banks from Norfolk? I know they're in a different state, but Dad talks about the Outer Banks as if they're close. Or are there Outer Banks in Virginia too? Sigh, all I really know about that part of the world is how much I loved the view over the Potomac as you ride on the Metro into D.C. from Alexandria.
One more thing...feel free to use the Chicken and Yum series (or any part thereof) for Silly Sunday--I would be honored!
The Outer Banks? Ocracoke Island is my favorite place in all the world! And, there is no such thing as an ugly beach. Water that touched the shores of other continents is touching ours. It boggles the mind.

Hey, congrats on winning the copy of Learn Me Good!
The beaches here are just as pretty and the temps have been up in the 70s this week. Would be glad to have you down south.
Tough time of year for the Outer Banks. Soon though, very soon...
Thanks for playing along!

Great 6 words. The ocean does seem angry at times. I can't wait for our beach trip in June, but I'm hoping for a calm ocean and much warmer temps!
I say bundle up and enjoy the view! Nature is lovely no matter what the temps, right?
BUT IT'S THE BEACH!!!! :)

My six words? I want to be there now.
