...and she said through gritted teeth, "What do you MEAN you forgot your shoes too?" And with her winning smile shining, she tightened her vice-like grip on his arm.

The coach told us we always have to wear tennis shoes on the gym floor.

That's what they get for holding Homecoming on a casual Friday.

BTW, Uncle Lynn answers your questions today over at my place in celebration of my Sweet Centennial. Please stop on by!

He thought the dance was taking place on the beach, she thought it was on the racetrack. Further proof that swimmers and runners shouldn't date.

Hey--I live to snark, but this was such a sweet photo that all the cynicism and vinegar drained right out of me. So no comment, as the Committee to Bail Out Our Economy said last Thursday afternoon, after the secret hullabaloo.

Gotta love those faces (back to your posted picture) and the exquisite blend of traditional dress-up homecoming with just a touch of silly and a teaspoon of saucy. You didn't have to tell us--it was right there in the photo: Two Nice Kids.

The kind of kids who make teaching an endless joy and give me hope for the future of this country. Great snapshot.

Yes, that's right, I use Crest Whitening tooth paste...

I know I should be focusing on the fine footwear, but that WHITE smile - holy cow!

"I won the bet, so tonight you get to feel what I feel every time we dance with your two left feet."

Thanks for stopping by on Monday.
I'm sorry but I don't watch SNL and couldn't find the skit online. Although I don't think I'd take offence or get annoyed because I'm not Canadian.
Enjoy the rest of your week!

From 4 feet behind the loving couple, Ted hatched his scheme. "Tonight's the night," he thought. "I WILL have Karen, and I WILL have Larry's sandals! Oh yes I WILL!!"
